These terms apply to your use of the Gmatchy mobile app and gmatchy.com (together, "Gmatchy"). By creating an account or using Gmatchy, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Gmatchy. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data.

What Gmatchy is

Gmatchy helps people find others to play board and card games with at cafés and other public places. Hosts create games, other players ask to join, and the host decides who joins. Gmatchy doesn't organise, supervise or attend games, and isn't part of any arrangement between players or with a café.

Who can use Gmatchy

You must be at least 18 years old and able to agree to these terms. You can have one account, and it's for you only.

Your account

• Give accurate information in your profile, and keep it up to date.
• Keep access to your phone number or Google account secure. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
• Tell us at contact@gmatchy.com if you think someone else is using your account.

Hosting and joining games

• When you host, describe the game, time and place accurately, and choose a public venue such as a café.
• Only ask to join games you plan to attend. If your plans change, leave the game or cancel it in the app so others know.
• Respect the café: follow its rules and pay for what you order. Cafés are independent businesses and set their own prices and policies.

Meeting people safely

You'll be meeting people you may not know. Meet in public places, tell someone where you're going, and use your own judgement. Gmatchy doesn't run background checks on users and can't guarantee how anyone behaves. If someone makes you feel unsafe, leave, and contact local authorities if needed. You can report a user to us at contact@gmatchy.com.

What you must not do

• Harass, threaten, discriminate against or abuse other users.
• Use Gmatchy to organise gambling for money or anything else that's illegal. Gmatchy is for social play.
• Create fake games, impersonate someone, or create accounts for others.
• Send spam or advertising, or use Gmatchy to sell products or services without our permission.
• Try to access other users' data, interfere with the service, or copy it by automated means.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you add to Gmatchy, such as your profile, photo and game notes. You allow us to store and show it to other users so Gmatchy can work. Don't post anything you don't have the right to share.

Suspending or closing accounts

We may remove content, or suspend or close an account, if it breaks these terms or puts other users at risk. You can delete your account at any time in the app under Profile.

Changes to Gmatchy and these terms

Gmatchy is new and will change as we improve it. We may add, change or remove features. If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we'll update the date above and tell you in the app. Using Gmatchy after a change means you accept the new terms.

Disclaimers

Gmatchy is provided "as is". We do our best to keep it available and accurate, but we can't promise it will always work without interruption or errors, or that games will happen as described.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Gmatchy isn't liable for the actions of other users, for anything that happens at a game or venue, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction over any dispute.

These terms are also available in العربية. If the two versions differ, the English version applies.
